The Threekit Story

2005

Threekit started with the ingenuity and vision of Ben Houston a 3D innovator who got his start creating CGI effects in Hollywood. You’ve probably seen his work in Marvel movies or Game of Thrones.

Ben saw a world where the same futuristic technology could be used to improve the digital commerce experience, enabling people to build and configure custom products in realtime.

2014

Meanwhile, Enterprise Software Leaders, Godard Abel , Joachim Klein and Matt Gorniak were building the category of Configure, Price, Quote CPQ software,

which revolutionized the way salespeople could generate quotes for highly complex products. Through their work, they became intrigued with the idea of creating a buyer’s experience by adding a compelling visual component to the quoting process.

2018

Visual Commerce category was born

the two parties joined forces to combine 3D innovation with the power and scale of a software platform and the Visual Commerce category was born. To date, Threekit has helped over 200 leading global brands completely transform their online buying experience, raising 65M in funding along the way. The recognized leader in the category, Threekit is paving the way for a visual revolution in online buying.
